BENT LAMINATED GLASS

Bent Laminated Safety Glass consists of two pieces of bent glass bonded together by a tough, resilient interlayer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin. Typical applications for bent laminated glass include railing systems, elevator and revolving door enclosures, skylight and overhead glazing, and interior partitions. In addition to minimizing risk of injury from broken glass fragments, bent laminated glass is effective in security areas, reduces sound transmission, blocks potentially harmful ultra-violet light rays, and is available in a range of color tints.

Standard Bent Insulated Glass consists of two lites of monolithic annealed glass, or any combination of monolithic, tempered, and laminated glass. Insulated glass is highly energy efficient, and our primary moisture-resistant butyl seal and secondary silicone seal are backed by our guarantee against seal failure.

The product is highly energy efficient and is commonly found in curtainwall, storefront and overhead skylight glazing. Bent insulated glass units often incorporate tinted reflective and "LOW-E" heat reflective glazing for increased thermal performance.

Additional fabrication capabilities at Standard Bent Glass include in-house sandblasting, grinding, polishing and pattern cutting.

BENT TEMPERED GLASS

Curved Tempered and Heat Strengthened Glass is now available from Standard Bent. Our state-of-the-art equipment produces high quality Bent Tempered Glass, conforming to safety glazing standards, from ¼" through ½" thickness. With a maximum size of 78" girth X 126" height, and a maximum radius of 15¾", our Bent Tempered Glass can be combined with insulated and laminated products to meet every safety and security specification.

BULLET RESISTANT / SECURITY

Our complete line of Bullet Resistant and Security Glass includes UL 752 Certifications for Level 1 - 1 3/16" and level 3 - 1¾" all glass make-ups. We offer a wide range of Glass-Clad Polycarbonate products to meet Bullet Resistant, Security, and Hurricane Resistant specifications. All our products are custom fabricated to your exact requirements, to include speak and cash holes, notches, and ground or polished edges.
