Over a Half Century of Experience

Since its beginning in 1936, Standard Bent Glass Company, Inc. has emerged as a primary source for complex, custom glasswork. A pioneer of modern glassmaking methods, company founder, A. H. Schottland spent many years developing and perfecting a special system that utilizes soft molds to bend glass.

Still in use today, this unique process enables Standard Bent Glass to manufacture bent glass with virtually no distortion, stricter tolerances and a quality unmatched in the industry.

The versatility of glass has given it new dimensions of importance in architectural, engineering and industrial applications. The expert craftsmen at Standard Bent Glass draw on more than a half-century of experience and employ handcraft methods to create bent glass that is both art and science.
